Step 2: Log in using your Google account username. 

The first part of your Google account is the same as the first part of your PWCS account.  Ask your teacher for your Temporary Password

                Example: PWCS Account - [email protected]

                                    Google Account - [email protected]

Step 3: Upon logging in, you should be prompted to change your password immediately before moving forward in

               your account.  Please do this and record your password in a safe location at home. 

***If you are not prompted to change your password, please follow the directions in the box below to change your password on your own immediately to secure your account.***

How to Change Your Password in Google

Step 1: Once you’ve logged in your account, click the Spartan Head logo in the top right corner.

Step 2: Click “Manage Your Google Account.”

Step 3: Click “Personal Info” on the left side of the screen.

Step 4: Click on “Password” in the middle of the screen.

Step 5: You may be prompted to re-enter your temporary password (See your teacher) to verify it’s you. Enter the

temporary password and click “Next.”

Step 6: Enter a NEW, unique password two times. Follow the requirements on the page for your new password.

Accessing Google in Canvas

Step 1: Log in to Canvas using your Office 365 Account.

Step 2: Click on your Independent Study Course from the course selections on your Dashboard.

Step 3: On the left side of the Independent Study Home Page, click on the tab titled  “Google Drive.”

Step 4: When prompted, sign in using your Saunders Google Account (We Thing Account) information.

***DO NOT USE a personal google account.  You MUST use your We Thing Account***

After signing in to Google Drive in Canvas, you should be able to access all Google materials and assignments your teachers use in Canvas.  If you are still having trouble logging in or seeing Google materials and assignments after logging in to Google Drive through Canvas, please email one of your teachers for assistance.
