Ms. Barbara Babauta will begin her position as administrative intern at Saunders Middle School in August of 2023.  Ms. Babauta is originally from Guam.  She taught Language Arts in Prince William County at Graham Park and Benton Middle Schools over the past 16 years.  During this time, she served as department chair, teacher mentor, and Student Council Association sponsor.

Ms. Babauta earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Glassboro State College.  Later, she earned two Masters, one in Communications and another in Secondary Education.  She is a proud resident of Prince William County.  She has a daughter and two dogs.  Her interests include yoga, traveling, hiking, and the Philadelphia Eagles.   

Ms. Babauta is an energetic leader who is excited to join the Saunders family.  She understands that positive relationships with students, teachers, and families is key to administrative success.
