Battle of the Books is a lively reading club that promotes literacy, teamwork, and friendly competition. Students read a selection of 20 books throughout the year and practice answering trivia-style questions based on their reading. Teams then compete against other schools in regional competitions, beginning with an open competition and advancing to a final competition. Battle of the Books is a fun and engaging way for students to discover new books, strengthen their reading comprehension skills, work collaboratively, and represent their school in academic competition.
No Application Required. Join the club by attending the first meeting of the year to find out more about how the club works. The first meeting is on September 17th after school in the library.
