The Saunders Mahjong Club is an educational and social club designed to introduce middle school students to the game of American Mahjong. The club will promote critical thinking, pattern recognition, memory skills, collaboration, and respectful social interaction through structured, supervised gameplay.
Mahjong is a strategy-based game that reinforces mathematical thinking, logical reasoning, and focus while encouraging positive peer interaction in a low pressure, inclusive environment.
