The Saunders PTSO fosters open communication among students, parents, and educators to enhance the educational opportunities available within the school. It aims to promote the welfare of children and youth in the home, school, and community. Additionally, the organization encourages volunteerism, facilitating meaningful collaboration between parents and teachers in the education of students. Through various events and initiatives, the PTSO seeks to create a vibrant and supportive school environment. Fundraisers, increasing employee morale, community engagement, family nights, student social events, supporting school initiatives, and educational workshops are just a few examples of the activities organized to engage the school community. By building strong relationships among all stakeholders, the PTSO not only supports academic excellence but also fosters a sense of belonging and pride. It’s a WE thing! Membership is open to everyone, and participation is highly encouraged, you do not have to become a member to volunteer and you don’t have to volunteer to become a member.
