GENERAL INFORMATION

Cameras on the Last Day

As in previous years:

• Cameras (not phones) will be permitted on the last day.
• Phones must remain in lockers daily, including Friday, until the clap-out.
• Prior to the parade, students may retrieve phones to capture photos/videos.
• After we collect iPads and clean our lockers this week (by grade level), please have students leave bookbags at home.

Library Books

Please remind students to return all outstanding library materials.

THIS WEEK: 

MONDAY – 6/8/26

Valoris House Breakfast

• Valoris was our winning house for the year!  Students (and selected others) will be called to the cafeteria for a special breakfast during first period. 

Field Day 

• Students will be participating in our annual field day.
• Each class will be outside for about two hours.
• The regular schedule will be followed for student core classes. 
• Students may bring $5–$10 for vendors - food trucks (ice cream and treats).

iPad Collection: We will collect iPads from Grade 6

TUESDAY – 6/9/26

WEDNESDAY – 6/10/26

• Locker Clean-Out: 
  • Grades 6 & 7 will clean out lockers
  • Trash cans will be available in hallways

• iPad Return: We will collect iPads from Grade 7 

THURSDAY – 6/11/26

• Locker Clean-Out: Grade 8 will clean out lockers
• Grade 8 Awards Ceremony – 6:00 p.m. at Hylton (invitation only)

FRIDAY – 6/12/26

• School day: 8:20 am - 11:25 pm.
• Busses will depart by 11:40 (latest) 
• Schedule: Periods 1, 3, 5, 7 (see attachment).
• Students must store bookbags and phones in lockers until clap-out.
• Lunch will be served to all students. 

Dismissal & Clap-Out Procedures

• Grade 8 parents are welcome to come join in the gym. 
• Arrival will be 10:45 am. 
• Please carpool or walk where possible. 
• A detailed email will be sent to only 8^th grade parents at 6:00 pm tonight.
