The Saunders "Pep Band" is open to all 7th and 8th grade band students who want to bring energy, spirit, and MUSIC to our school football games! 

Pep Band students perform at our three home football games.

Two of the games begin at 5:00 PM, while our annual rivalry game against Benton is always held under the lights at Hylton, Colgan, or Forest Park High School with a 6:15 PM start time. Transportation and dinner are provided for the Benton game.

Students who participate must commit to attending at least two of the three football games and one of the two after-school rehearsals. There is no required uniform, but students are encouraged to wear Saunders spirit wear or dress in blue to show their school pride.

The Pep Band playlist includes football standards such as Go Fight Win, We Will Rock You, Seven Nation Army, Mortal Kombat, and more. No audition is required!
